Art is everywhere! You may know of the City of Sugar Land's Traffic Box Public Art Project, a partnership between our Cultural Arts department (in the Office of Economic Development) and the Sugar Land Cultural Arts Foundation to have regionally-based artists transform traffic signal control boxes in Sugar Land from functional infrastructure into colorful works for art. The city honored 18 traffic box artists from Phase II and III of the project in an event hosted at the Sugar Land Heritage Museum & Visitor Center.
