Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office Rising Star-September 2022This month’s Rising Star is FBCSO Deputy Dustin Dishman who helped save a man’s life this past summer. While traveling northbound on U.S. 59 in Sugar Land, Deputy Dishman came upon a major accident involving a single vehicle. The vehicle rested on its side and Deputy Dishman jumped into action, making contact with the driver. He noticed major trauma on the victim’s arm and quickly applied a tourniquet, which stopped the bleeding. Dep. Dishman helped the victim out of the vehicle while first responders were on the way. Sugar Land Police Department, who commended Dep. Dishman for his quick actions, investigated the scene. Dep. Dishman was at the right place at the right time.
