Gold Star Families Memorial Monument
May their legacies live on forever. The City of Sugar Land, along with the Sugar Land Legacy Foundation, want to invite all Sugar Landers on Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. to Memorial Park for an unveiling of the new Gold Star Families Monument. This incredibly special monument was crafted in tribute of the family members left behind by the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. The hope is that this monument will provide a place for families to gather and honor their loved ones who have served, as well as provide a memorial for the community to reflect on their sacrifices.
