Sugar Land Police Seek Suspect in Brutal Daylight AssaultSugar Land Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault that occurred on June 5, 2026, at approximately 10:25 a.m. near Creekbend Drive and Fluor Daniel Drive.According to investigators, a woman was walking in the area when she was approached from behind and struck with a baseball bat by an unknown male. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect is described as a Black male believed to be in his 30s or 40s. After the attack, he reportedly fled the scene in an SUV that may have been either dark-colored or light-colored.The investigation remains ongoing.
