Sugar Land Police Department announced the winners of the 2022 Officer of the Year, Supervisor of the Year, Civilian of the Year, Community Assistance Support Team (CAST) Volunteer of the Year, Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) Volunteer of the Year, and the CPAAA's Officer of the Year. The Sugar Land Police Department's Community Assistance Support Team (CAST) is a volunteer group comprised of Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association members who provide support for major incident response, patrol, victim services, and police training.
