The Sugar Land police responded to a shooting at 910 Sugar Mountain Court in the Sugar Mill Subdivision in Sugar Land at 11:50 pm. A 35-year-old man was shot and killed by the 27-year-old nephew of his fiancé. The nephew was living at the house. He was involved in an argument earlier last evening with someone in the house. He was told to leave, but returned later and fired several rounds through an exterior door, killing the 35-year-old man. The shooter ran away. The area was searched, but he was not found. SLPD is actively investigating the case.

We always say we want our firearms for sport target shooting and nothing else.

Saw it on the news tonight Man accused of fatally shooting his aunt's fiancé in Sugar Land, police say
SUGAR LAND, Texas - A manhunt is underway after police said a man was shot to death by his fiancée's nephew at a Sugar Land home Wednesday.
Officers said the shooting happened at a home in the 900 block of Sugar Mountain Court.
According to investigators, the 27-year-old suspect was living at the home with his aunt, her two children, and her 35-year-old fiancé.
Police said at some point last night the man and the suspect got in an argument.
The suspect allegedly shot through an exterior door of the house, striking the man multiple times, investigators said. Officers said the alleged gunman then fled the scene.
Officers said no one else in the home was injured during the shooting.

@Deacon_Blu : I've never said that. I want one as protection, nothing more. If I get one, I will practice, so I can shoot what I"m aiming at. Ten years later, I still don't have one, though. I feel save in my area and avoid areas where I don't feel safe.

This is a tragedy for this family. The survivors are out on their ears, the heirs are circuling, and nephew will be incarcerated for next few decades of his life.
